I’m super excited to invite you to my little Minecraft SMP project! 🌟 I can’t wait to see you join in the fun!

🏃‍♀️ How Do I Join?

To join the server, you’ll need to have Minecraft Java Edition 1.20.4 installed (make sure it’s not pirated!). Installing the voice chat mod is totally optional, but highly recommended.

The server uses a whitelist system, so just DM me or HotMasya on any platform, and I’ll add you to the whitelist! 💌

Once you’re whitelisted, you can join by using “IP” hikka.mooo.com

🎤 So, what’s the Deal with the Voice Chat?

The voice chat mod lets you send positional voice messages to other players! You can also play custom music discs 🎶 if you’re feeling like sharing some tunes.

Note to Snap, Flatpak and macOS users!

You may experience issues due to strict permission enforcements on these platforms.

If you use Snap:

No tips provided. Look up how to allow microphone access to the snap package, or use alternative method of installing Minecraft.

If you use Flatpak:

By default Pulseaudio server should be enabled for most containers, so if you have issues, check if it’s enabled. This can be done through “Application Permission” in System Settings on KDE, or flatseal (should work with all DEs).

If you use macOS:

It seems the only client that should support voice chat on macOS is Prism Launcher. Use it instead of MultiMC. You’ll be prompted to give microphone access when needed.

Installing MultiMC and Simple Voice Chat Mod:

1. Download Simple Voice Chat mod

2. Install and setup MultiMC ^{(Sowwy for not having pictures)}

3. Create a new instance for version 1.20.4

4. Install fabric

5. Install mod, by selecting the file you’ve downloaded

6. You can now start the game. You probably would want to change some binds, so do it in the controls settings, that way you can also make sure mod is loaded.

7. To make sure your client can communicate with the server, look at the bottom-left corner. There you should NOT see “crosseed out outlet plug” icon, and when turning off the mic, you should see “mic off” icon as on a screenshot:

👫 Can I Bring a Friend?

Of course! Feel free to ask me to add your friends to the whitelist, and we can all play together! The more the merrier. 🎉

📜 Are There Any Rules?

Not really! 😌 But there’s one thing: don’t harass anyone—whether it’s verbally, griefing, or by building something upsetting (especially outside your region). Let’s keep it friendly and fun! 💖

🛠️ What Plugins Are We Using?

Here are some cool things you’ll find on the server:

1. Item Frame Image Plugin – You can create and display images in item frames! (You’ll need to gather item frames yourself.)
2. Fun MOTD Messages – The server has a rotating collection of fun, randomized messages, including quotes from fellow players!
3. Sitting, Laying, Spinning, & More – We can do all sorts of cute actions!
4. Custom Music Discs – You’ll need voice chat support for this one, but you can enjoy some unique music discs!

🤔 Why Does (Blank) Look So Scuffed?

The idea is to build everything in survival mode—spawns, highways, you name it! No creative mode cheats here (outside of very rare occurances)! 😉 It’s all about the survival experience and making things imperfectly perfect. 🛠️
